Why Ordered Numbers Matter in Pick3

By Pick3 Team9 May 202637 views

In Pick3, the order you choose is part of the ticket. That means your first, second, and third positions are all meaningful.

Your ticket order is preserved

If you pick 20, 3, and 30, your ticket is saved as 20-3-30. The system does not rearrange it into ascending order. This gives players more control and makes each ordered sequence its own choice.

  • 20-3-30 is one ticket combination.

  • 3-20-30 is a different ticket combination.

  • 30-20-3 is different again.

How matching works

A number only counts as a match when it appears in the same position as the winning result. If the winning result is 20-3-30, then 20 must be first, 3 must be second, and 30 must be third for an exact match.

Matching all three positions wins Tier 1. Matching exactly two positions wins Tier 2. Matching the right numbers in the wrong positions does not count as the same result.

Why this gives more variety

Position-based play creates more possible combinations and makes the draw feel less limited. Players can build tickets around a specific sequence instead of only choosing a set of three numbers.

A simple way to think about it

Treat each ticket like a three-step code. Pick the numbers you want, then place them deliberately. The sequence is the ticket.

That is the core of ordered Pick3: the numbers matter, and the positions matter too.
