Ordered Numbers Matter: A Simple Guide to Picking Your Pick3 Ticket
Pick3 is about numbers and positions
When you buy a Pick3 ticket, you choose three unique numbers from 1 to 30. The important part is that those numbers stay in the exact order you selected them.
That means 20, 3, 30 is different from 3, 20, 30. They use the same numbers, but they are different tickets because the positions are different.
Why order matters
The draw result also has three positions: first, second, and third. Your ticket is checked against those positions one by one.
Your first number is compared with the first result number.
Your second number is compared with the second result number.
Your third number is compared with the third result number.
If all three positions match, the ticket wins Tier 1. If exactly two positions match, the ticket wins Tier 2.
A quick example
Suppose the winning result is 12, 25, 7. A ticket with 12, 25, 7 matches all three positions and wins Tier 1.
A ticket with 12, 7, 25 only matches the first position. Even though it contains the same three numbers, it does not win because the second and third positions are switched.
How to choose your ticket
There is no guaranteed winning pattern, but order gives you more ways to express your pick. Some players may choose a meaningful sequence. Others may spread their choices across different positions.
The most useful habit is to review your ticket before buying it. Make sure the first, second, and third numbers are exactly where you want them.
Before you play
Make sure your wallet has enough balance for the tier you want to play. Bronze, Silver, and Gold have different ticket prices, and each tier has its own pool and jackpot.
Play for fun, choose responsibly, and remember that every draw is based on the final ordered result.
